Our Videos & Before & After
At Southwest Tattoo Removal our expert staff uses the world's most advanced laser technology
to safely remove your tattoo with faster fading and flawless results.
For complete removal, most people will need between 5 to 12 treatments. For fading preparation for a cover-up, you may only need 2 to 4 treatments. Since every tattoo is different, the number of treatments needed is unique for everyone and depends on a variety of factors, including: Tattoo age, Tattoo location, Tattoo colors, skin type, ink density, type of tattoo, pre-existing scarring, personal health and sun exposure.
Most customers will see significant fading within their first few treatments. Your body is totally responsible for removing the ink debris after a treatment to break the ink particles. Our estimate of 5 to 12 treatments times 6-8 weeks between treatments will give you an idea of how long it will take. It is a journey and you have to trust the process. This is the latest technology for safely removing tattoo ink at this time.
Yes! SW Tattoo Removal is the expert in all things tattoo removal, from complete tattoo removal, fading for cover-ups, and selective tattoo removal - we do it all!
As long as proper aftercare is applied, you shouldn't experience any severe side effects. Laser tattoo removal is the safest method for removing and treating unwanted ink. Our Astanza lasers safely penetrate through the epidermis and target only the ink particles in the dermis layer while leaving the surrounding skin tissue unharmed. We use FDA-approved technology and custom laser protocols to ensure the safest treatments. The only side effects you may experience are temporary redness, itchiness, scabbing, blistering, swelling, hyperpigmentation, or hypopigmentation. Again, these side effects are temporary and part of the healing process.
The laser sensation is tolerable and is often described as a rubber band snapping against the skin. Whereas people with good pain tolerance have said the laser feels similar to getting a tattoo. Luckily, laser tattoo removal takes a fraction of the time it takes to apply a tattoo.
Depending on the size of your tattoo and your tolerance, treatments last anywhere from a few seconds to 15 minutes. SW Tattoo Removal offers skin numbing solutions to help alleviate your skin and provide maximum comfort.
SW Tattoo Removal offers complimentary consultations and affordable treatment pricing based on the size of your tattoo. For those who qualify for free through the program, we will tell you during the consultation. We also provide treatment packages and discounts for larger tattoos such as sleeves or large areas to help you save more upfront.
What about a color tattoo?
SW has the laser frequencies to remove color ink tattoos. Color ink tattoos will usually take longer to remove as the work has to move somewhat slower. The consultation in person is important.

A laser can change a life and give a second chance to clear the skin of the face, neck and hands. Removing the ink from these areas improves self-esteem and confidence. Everyone deserves an even playing field and I'm just excited that I can help contribute to that. The Southwest Tattoo Removal Program is a 501c3 non-profit organization and we actively began seeing clients in 2018.
